this is what the scene was as we drove to memphis on saturday. it was something i will probably never see again in my life time, and hope i do not. they should have already closed I40 down by this point, but it caught everyone so off guard, that we were all left with suddenly too much water really quickly.
after all these shots, i thought to myself..."good thing i did not need a snurkel." (that is what the little fella calls a snorkel. say, 'snurkel' outloud, it is just a funny word.
the photo session ended with me seeing this car.
this car was a BMW from tunica and i was dazed and confused,
because do people really live there?
