here we go again! (seattle, portland, san fran...)

on august second, brad and i are headed on a road trip we have been talking about for about a year.  here's the layout.  you know brad has a website that covers film, filming locations, music and all things twin peaks, right?  so we will be flying to seattle on august second for the weekend.  also for the twin peaks festival to get our geek on, uh hum...

then we are leaving seattle monday morning and road tripping it on the 101 all the way to san francisco that next week.  with stops in portland, astoria...and the like---finally ending up in san francisco.  (hello, full house house...you know i gotsta see that!)

so now that you have our trip pencilled in your calendar.  tell me, have you been to washington, portland or san fran?  what should we see, do, there?  any off the beaten path places we HAVE to go?  or any cool local restaurants?
help a girl out!

p.s.  dj tanner (candice cameron bure) TWEETED at me and told me her favorite restaurants in napa.  oh yes she did!!!

Get a sub sandwich in Portland, so different from the subs here. And I don't mean Subway. Get the reall thing. Downtown Portland is so neat. As well as the coast, Coos Bay, etc.

I am from Washington and live about an hour from Seattle! Love it! You have to go to Pike's Place and if you are a Starbuck's fan then stop by the flagship store there. There's an Ivars on the pier and a brand new ferris wheel. Also, go up in the Space Needle. The views are incredible. Something I have never done and wanted to was take a tour on the Duck, which is an amphibious vehicle. You get a city and water tour. :)
